Janhvi Kapoor on 'Bawaal' co-star Varun Dhawan's 10 years in Bollywood: He is a Dil Se kind of guy, and has preserved his sense of innocence - Exclusive

Varun Dhawan made his big Bollywood debut alongside Alia Bhatt and Sidharth Malhotra in Dharma Productions' Student of the Year 10 years ago. As the actor completes a decade in the industry, his Bawaal co-star Janhvi Kapoor tells ETimes about his rare qualities she admires.
"Mr Dhawan has a heart of gold, Mr Dhawan never acts old... Okay I won’t do this rhyming, someone else has already trademarked it," says Janhvi."But he honestly is one of my favourite people, because he is so easy to get along with, and he is always trying to make sure everyone around him is having a great time. And he is a very Dil Se kind of guy, and even though he’s been around for so long, and knows the way of the industry so well, he has somehow preserved a sense of innocence, and I think that his approach to acting is very like 'I want to entertain people, I want to make them laugh, I want to make them have a good time'. There is a certain amount of purity in it, which I appreciate."

Varun Dhawan will soon be seen in Amar Kaushik's horror comedy 'Bhediya' the trailer of which was released today. A wolf bites Varun one night and after that, he develops wolf instincts slowly. Later, he turns into an actual wolf every night and becomes menacing. The film also stars Kriti Sanon as Dr Anika and it hits the theatres on November 25, 2022.
